This one-of-a-kind hand-painted bangle bracelet is upcycled* from the thick cardboard tube from a roll of packing tape!  This shimmering bracelet design is called “Midnight Sky” and is inspired by the mysterious night sky.  It’s painted to resemble the sky at night with mostly a black background, swirls of silver and purple, and silver dot "stars" all over it. The small and medium-sized iridescent purple beads strung on with silver wire give this bracelt a bit of a sparkle and shine like a starry night sky. It wouldn't be a night sky without the moon...there's a bronze-colored metal moon and star charm hanging in the middle part of the bracelet. The inside is painted black with a silver edge going around and my initials (J.A.) are signed in silver. Also written on the inside in silver is: "Midnight Sky."  The bracelet “latch” is a medium-size iridescent purple bead strung on silver wire that attaches around another medium-size iridescent purple bead strung on silver wire on the other side...the bracelet will most likely be able to slip over your hand so you may not even need to undo it each time. This bracelet measures almost 2” tall. It is 9-1/4” in total circumference.
 
After all of the paint is completely dry, the bracelet is varnished for a bit of protection, extra durability, and some shine.  Be sure to read the "Caring for your Bracelet Section" so that you can take good care of your hand-painted bracelet and treasure it for many years!
