This is for a pair of one-of-a-kind hand-painted Wedding Bride & Groom Shells (aka. Shellmets*).  These Wedding Shellmets are inspired by my own wedding on the beach.  I have made different designs for several friends who have gotten married and they just loved them... such a unique gift that the couple certainly won't forget or get any duplicates!

This is the Silver & Red Wedding Shellmets Bride & Groom pair.  The Bride Shellmet is all white with "Bride" painted in red and silver letters going down the side that is meant to be displayed….there’s even a little heart to dot the letter “i”.  There are also 2 little "diamond" dots on the letters "B" and "d."  It has sparkly smoke clear beads and rhinestone beads trimming the top of the white tulle wedding veil.  The Groom Shellmet is all black with "Groom" painted in red and silver letters going down the side that is meant to be displayed.  There are also 2 little "diamond" dots on the letters "G" and "m."  (FYI:  There are no real diamonds on this collectible.)

* What exactly is a Shellmet?

One day I was just looking at an Apple Snail shell from the side while it was sitting upright and I thought that it looked just like a mini football helmet... Shell + Helmet = Shellmet.  That's when I decided to really turn it into a little helmet by adding a face mask and painting it to resemble a sports team’s football helmet!

...And then the Wedding ones came next!  You can see my Football Shellmets in my Etsy Shop: JenKA's Collectibles.

Each Shellmet is made from a real Apple Snail Shell.  Since real shells are actually used and they are each individually hand-painted, you will be getting something truly one-of-a-kind.  Once all of the painting is done, they are then varnished for protection, durability, and shine.  Be sure to read the Caring for your Shellmets Section so that you can take good care of them and treasure them for many years!

Both Shellmets come with a golden-colored circular shaped ring that you can use to display them.  (It's wrapped in the tissue paper next to the Shellmet inside the container.)  Simply lay the ring down on a flat surface. Set the Shellmet upright in the middle of the circle and then adjust the Shellmet until it will stay standing...as seen in photo.  Or you can choose to keep your Shellmet on display nestled in the tissue paper inside the little container as pictured...either way will display the Shellmet very nicely!  You can even put them on top of a wedding cake!

When you surround yourself with things that bring you joy, it's easy to feel more joyful everyday!

Each actual Shellmet measures about 2-1/2” – 3” tall by about 2-1/4” – 2-3/4” wide.  The sizes will vary a bit due to the fact that real shells are used and they all vary a little in size.

Take a look at the Personalization Section if you are interested in Wedding Shellmets with your special names hand-painted on the shells.  I can design them in the colors of your choice plus  I can even paint on the wedding date.

Every piece of art includes a Joy Challenge, so I hope you are ready for a little challenge to inspire even more joy!  I will also include a few inspirational goodies to bring more JOY to your day!
